Father's Day Cake

A close friend ordered a father's day cake for her avid golfer father.  I gave her a few designs to choose (inspired by other talented cake decorators).  Her son chose this:

The side resembles a golf course with rolling hills and flagsticks (hee! hee! I had to google to find out its proper term).

A Basset Hound

Why does a sorrowful basset hound bring a smile to the face?

A friend ordered this birthday cake for her grand aunt.  She requested a basset hound (it is their family pet)

Korean figurines (cause her aunt loves Korean shows)

and daisies (cause her English name is Daisy).

Pretty Mum To Be

The other baby shower cake: a 6 inch "So Sugee Me, I'm Good" petite cake.
Surprisingly, the fondant mum to be looked a little like the true mum to be. I haven't seen my friend for quite some time so I did not intentionally model the fondant lady after her. What do you think? Some likeness there?
